Description

Upgrade your Breville 54mm group head with an IMS precision shower screen and replacement silicone group seal. Designed to provide more even water dispersion across the coffee bed while helping keep the group head cleaner between services.

Why upgrade the shower screen?

  • More even water flow: the precision-pattern screen helps distribute brewing water more consistently across the puck.
  • Cleaner group head: the fine perforated surface helps reduce coffee particles and oily residue travelling back into the group area.
  • Easier maintenance: the smooth stainless-steel surface is straightforward to remove, rinse and wipe clean.
  • Durable upgrade: food-safe stainless steel replaces the standard screen, while the supplied silicone seal refreshes the group-head seal at the same time.

Installation and care

Allow the machine to cool and disconnect it from power before removing the existing screen. Clean the group-head recess thoroughly, install the new seal and screen in the same orientation as the original components, and check for an even seal before brewing. Rinse and gently brush the screen regularly to prevent coffee oils from accumulating.
